About
Cincinnati United Soccer Club was formed as a collaboration of traditional clubs including Lakota United Soccer Club, Thunder United, Sycamore Soccer Club (Arsenal), and Southeast Cincinnati Soccer Association. Established in 2008, the non-profit serves nearly 3,000 players across 28 locations in the Greater Cincinnati area and employs over 200 staff every year. Its Cincinnati United Communities (North, South, and West) provide developmental and competitive pathways for boys and girls aged 8 to 19, while the CUP Boys and CUP Girls premier programs compete at the regional and national level on platforms including MLS NEXT, the Girls Academy (GA and GA Aspire), and USYS. A Juniors program serves ages 3 and up, and year-round Specialty Programs include PDT, futsal (Premier Futsal Program), winter training, college ID camps, camps, and 3v3. The club describes its Fall High School Program as the longest running Ohio South and OHSAA supported club program for high-school-eligible players in the fall season. Registration and team placement run through PlayMetrics, and the club hosts tournaments including Party on the Pitch, the Buckeye September Showdown, the CU Fall Finale, and the Elite Invitational.
