About
Sonic Soccer Club runs a 7U-8U in-house program (4v4 games in a local league, once-weekly training led by a licensed coach at McKee Farms Park, weekend games in the Fitchburg and Madison areas) and 9U-16U programs at Developmental (MAYSA Tier 3-4), Competitive (MAYSA Tier 1-2), State League, and High School (U16) levels. All teams are trained by licensed coaches, and program fees are flat and all-inclusive, covering MAYSA and WYSA registration, tournament fees, referee fees, field and facility rental, coach compensation, PlayMetrics fees, uniform kit, and coach travel. The club offers confidential financial aid, scholarships, and payment plans, and applies automatic sibling discounts of $50 off the first sibling and $75 off additional siblings. The season runs August through July, with tryouts each June governed by WYSA, the state organization; tryouts are free for U7-U10 and $20 for U11-U16, held at McKee Farms Park (7U-14U) and Elver Park (High School). As a nonprofit, the club is run by a Board of Directors and volunteers, and its website is published in English and Spanish.
