About
Upper Arlington United (UAU) was founded in 2019 by Coach Matar Faal and serves children and families in Upper Arlington, Ohio. The club provides structured soccer pathways for players of all levels, from beginners to competitive athletes, through recreational and competitive programs and private training. Its new Recreational Soccer Program for Fall 2026 spans UAU TOTS (U5-U6, ages 4-6), Little Strikers (U7-U8, ages 7-8), and the Development Academy (U9-U12, ages 9-12), with no tryouts required and an official UAU jersey included. Younger age groups (U5-U8) play a 30-minute practice followed immediately by a 30-minute game on weekends, while U9-U12 players have one 45-minute weekday practice and one weekend game. Practice sessions are typically held at Thompson Park, and home games are currently played at Spindler and various Upper Arlington fields. The Fall 2026 season begins August 24 and ends October 25, 2026, skipping the UA fall break week. The club states it does not turn players away because of skill level, background, or financial barriers.
