About

Lancaster FC was founded in 2022 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and merged with Lancaster Elite, a program whose roots date back to 1972, to create a comprehensive pathway from recreational soccer through travel, academy, and ultimately professional play. As part of the merger, the club also operates the Manheim Township Soccer Club (MTSC) recreational program. In 2025 Lancaster FC was acquired by Copa Holdings LLC, a soccer-focused investment firm owned and operated by Roberto Aguas, with a presence in North America, South America, and Europe. Competitive teams span U9-U19 boys and girls across Academy, Elite, and Premier tiers, with no-cost tryouts held at Clipper Magazine Stadium, Shadek Stadium, and Tylus Field. The Junior Academy introduces the game to children ages 3 to 8, and the club also runs position-specific clinics, week-long camps, a year-round residential program, and a college preparation program. Recent college placements cited by the club include Columbia University, Bloomsburg University, and Messiah University. The club's home location is Foundation Fields in Lancaster.
