The Oley Valley Youth League is organized to promote, develop and supervise participation by residents of the Oley Valley School District in organized youth sports, with soccer among its five listed sports alongside baseball, basketball, field hockey, and softball. Per its mission statement, the league strives to help members and participants develop mentally, socially and physically, building qualities of good citizenship, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and team play.
